What is a dub.point?
Think of the dub.point as a key, this key will allow you to open the door to record calls on the dubber platform.
What makes the dub.point?
Each call recording has 3 metadata elements to make it unique. The 3 elements are:
- Group ID
- Service Provider ID
- User ID
The metadata together is what we call dub.point. Having a dub point is the only way a user can record calls.
How to create a dub.point
N.B This can only be done by an administrator and is the easiest way to ensure the user's recording appears on their account.
To create a dub.point you need to ensure a user has been created. To find out how to create a user please click here.
Once the user has been created, you need to go to their profile.
Click on dub.point
On the next page click on add dub.point
From here you will need to complete all the fields.

The rest of these fields, the account administrator should know this information when they are setting up the dub.point for the user.
Which dub.point are you assigned to?
You can find the link to the dub.point on your profile page. Beneath the profile is a link named "dub.points". When clicking the dub.points link you will see dub.point you have been assigned to:
