The latest version of Dubber includes IdP Single Sign On.
Release date: 8-11 February 2021
Last updated: 22 January 2021
New features
IdP Single Sign On (SSO)
Dubber's IdP SSO makes granting and controlling access to Dubber easy. Businesses can grant and manage access through their identity provider, to ensure their specific security and access controls are adhered to when their users access Dubber.
How it helps
Businesses have the ability to selectively grant their users access to Dubber using their existing SAML-compliant identity provider. User matching is either through a business email address or unique userid, defined at configuration. Access controls can be boosted with password strength, validity period, (password) re-use restrictions, and any multi-factor authentication requirements managed within the business' identity provider.
The business users who can access Dubber and what is accessible to them continues to be managed under Dubber user and team management, IdP SSO enhances the access for those users who are granted permission.
How it is enabled
By default, IdP SSO is disabled, with users accessing Dubber via basic authentication (i.e. username and password). IdP SSO can be configured either at account creation, or retrospectively added to an existing account through a change management process. Once IdP SSO is enabled, users will only be able to access Dubber through the configured identity provider.
Contact your Dubber account representative, or Dubber support, for more information about how to establish trusted authentication.
