Dubber v1.40
New Features
Automatic language detection
Account Administrators could previously select a single transcription (and associated AI) language (and accent) for their account. Now, languages can be added from a broad list with Dubber automatically detecting the dominant language within the conversation, using that language for AI processing.
How it helps
Multi-lingual countries like Canada are required to offer business services in both English and Canadian French, meaning conversations could start in either language without prior notice. With the broader shift to businesses becoming more global and more flexible with their communication options, it has never been more important to ensure compliance and the capture of data insights in the customer's language of choice.
Once configured, conversations can occur in any of the configured languages with Dubber automatically assessing the start of each conversation and completing AI processing using the detected language. Dubber supports a range of languages for transcription and other AI intelligence, contact your account team to learn which languages and accents are available to you.
How it is enabled
Automatic language detection is available as an account-wide setting. Once enabled, Account Administrators are required to define a default (fallback) language as well as select the languages their conversations are most likely to take place. The list of languages can be updated at any time with those changes benefiting all subsequently received conversations.
