FAQs
What is changing?
The new tone labels being added will be: sad, frustrated, satisfied, excited, polite, impolite, and sympathetic.
The existing labels: anger, fear, joy, sadness, analytical, confident and tentative will remain in the Dubber portal. New recordings will not have a value populated against them. Recordings that were analysed prior to the change will keep values in the existing labels.

Why is this changing?
Due to an upgrade to the underlying AI technology Dubber needs to make this change to ensure we can continue to deliver insightful voice data.
What is required of customers?
If you are using notifications from the Dubber portal based off tone labels, these will need to be updated to match the new labels. For customers using tone labels in data exports, reporting etc from the Dubber portal you will need to update your process to look for the new labels. Customers not exporting data, no action required from yourselves.
Dubber on Salesforce Connector
For customers using the Dubber on Salesforce connector purchased through the AppExchange, post release the tone labels will not update for new recordings. If reporting or workflows are used based off tone labels these will no longer update.
Viewing the recording record page the emotion section will continue to display sentiment, hoever new recordings will not have a value for any of the listed emotions.
