Prerequisites
RingCentral configuration
Dubber ingests RingCentral recordings via RingCentral’s Automatic Call Recording (ACR). As a result, each user must:
- be licensed with a RingCentral plan that includes ACR,
- have Call Recording enabled, with that user’s extension selected for recording (with the desired inbound/outbound restrictions)
Permission to associate Dubber with your RingCentral account
Dubber is installed as an application against your RingCentral account, as a result of this a RingCentral account administrator is required to complete the association and authorization step as part of the Dubber onboarding process.
Installation
Once your purchase of Dubber is complete, a member of the Dubber enablement team will reach out using the supplied contact information to step you through the following items.
Authorizing your account
Dubber will send the nominated contact in your account an email with a link to commence the Authorization process.
Clicking Authorize will direct the user to the RingCentral authorization page. The RingCentral user completing this step must be a RingCentral administrator.
Once authenticated, the user will be presented the list of permissions and access the Dubber application requires to ingest recordings.
Where authorization was successful, the user will be shown a thank you page. The authorization is complete.
Confirming users
As a result of the authorization process, Dubber will have access to the list of users and their recording configuration. A member of the Dubber enablement team will reach out to request the users that should have licenses applied.
Once your list of users are confirmed, Dubber will activate recording for each, supplying login information directly to each user.
Your setup is complete, your recordings are being securely captured and stored by Dubber.
