About Teams
Teams help manage access to conversations (recordings) within Dubber. By assigning users to a Team and giving them a role, you can control who can listen to recordings and access Team insights or trends data.
Users in a Team can be assigned one of the following roles:
- Contributor – Can access their own recordings
- Listener – Can listen to recordings made by Contributors in the Team
- Manager – Can listen to Team recordings and access Team analytics (requires Insights or Trends)
Note: Teams are not available on all Dubber products. Dubber Go and Dubber You do not support Teams.
Contributor 🎙️
Contributors can make recordings and listen to their own conversations (recordings). They cannot listen to recordings made by other users.
When a user is added to a Team as a Contributor, their recordings are automatically associated with that Team. If the user has access to the Dubber portal, they will be able to view and listen to their own conversations (recordings) only.
Conversations (recordings) made by Contributors can be accessed by any Listener or Manager in the same Team.
Note: If a user with Contributor permission has multiple Dubpoints, these need to be added for all of their recordings to show under the Team.
Manager 🛡️
Managers can listen to all conversations (recordings) made by Contributors in their Team.
If your account includes Insights or Trends, Managers can also access Team-level dashboards and reporting for those features.
Listener 👂
Listeners can listen to their own conversations (recordings), as well as conversations (recordings) made by any Contributor in the same Team.
Unlike Managers, Listeners do not have access to Insights or Trends dashboards.
