What is changing?
The current Dubber mobile app for iOS and Android will no longer be available or supported from 31 August 2026.
After this date, the existing Dubber mobile app will no longer function and users will not be able to use it to access their Dubber recordings.
This change is part of our work to deliver an improved mobile experience for Dubber users.
What do I need to do?
There is no action required before 31 August 2026.
After the current mobile app is retired, you can continue to access Dubber and your recordings using the Dubber web portal through a supported web browser.
If you currently rely on the Dubber mobile app, we recommend familiarising yourself with the Dubber web portal before 31 August.
Is Dubber releasing a new mobile app?
Yes. We are developing a completely new and improved Dubber mobile app for both iOS and Android.
The new app is being built to provide an improved mobile experience and will replace the existing Dubber mobile app.
We expect the new app to be available in the coming months. More information, including availability and instructions for downloading the new app, will be shared closer to release.
Will I lose my recordings?
No. The retirement of the current mobile app does not affect recordings stored in Dubber.
Your recordings and other Dubber data will continue to be available through the Dubber web portal, subject to your account's existing access permissions and retention settings.
Can I continue using the existing app after 31 August?
No. From 31 August 2026, the existing Dubber mobile app will no longer function on either iOS or Android.
Removing and reinstalling the app will not restore access.
Where can I access Dubber in the meantime?
During the period between the retirement of the existing app and the release of the new Dubber mobile app, you can continue to access Dubber through the Dubber web portal using a supported web browser.
