The Dubber app lets you record call conversations and meetings on your mobile device. You can retrieve and replay saved conversations at any time.
Getting Started
To get started with the Dubber app, confirm you can login to your Dubber account using a web browser. Take note of the regional Dubber portal for your account: AU, JP, SP, NA, CA, UK, UK1, or EU. Confirm that your Dubber account has the meeting recorder product configured.
Make sure that the operating system on your mobile device is up to date, then download and install the Dubber app:

Setup
The first time you run the Dubber app, you need to setup the meeting recorder dub.point.
- Run the Dubber mobile app and login using your Dubber account credentials and regional Dubber portal.
- Tap on the microphone button at the bottom of the screen.
- This button usually opens the Meeting Recorder. If it's your first time using the Dubber app, you don’t have a meeting recorder dub.point setup, so the "Create a New Dub-point" page appears.

If your account has multiple meeting products, select one from the menu.

Specify a name for your meeting recorder. This is how the recorder name is shown in the Dubber Portal:

Tap the "Submit" button. This completes your meeting recorder dub.point setup. Now you can use the meeting recorder.

Login to the Dubber mobile app.

Tap on the Meeting Recorder button.

The "Meeting Recorder" page appears.

Specify a default filename for your meeting recordings, for example, "Meeting".
Naming meeting recordings makes it easier for you to keep track of them. You can change the default name later, as described below in the "Settings" section.How the meeting name is shown in the Dubber mobile app:

Recording Controls
Record: Tap on the red "Record" button to start a meeting recording.
Stop and Pause: While a meeting recording is in progress, the "Record" button is replaced by a "Stop" button and a "Pause" button.
The "Pause" button temporarily halts a recording. Tap "Pause" again to resume a paused recording.
The "Stop" button stops the meeting recorder. When you stop a recording, the Dubber app uploads the recording to Dubber's cloud storage automatically. After the upload is complete, your meeting recording is available on the "Home" page of the mobile app and in the Dubber portal.
If you navigate away from the "Meeting Recorder" page while a meeting recording is active, the Dubber app shows a sound bar at the bottom of the screen. You can use the sound bar to pause and resume the recording.
Play: To play a meeting recording in the Dubber app, tap the "Home" button to see the "Recording List", and then tap on the name of a recording. You can list all recordings, or filter by recording type. To play a recording in the Dubber portal, click on the "Play" button next to the name of a recording.
Important Note for Android Users
If you clear the cache/data of the app before a meeting is uploaded to Dubber, there is no way to recover those meeting recordings, and the recording is erased permanently. If you manually delete the the .wav or .mp3 file of the recording from the internal storage of your your device before it is uploaded the the recording is erased permanently. It is your responsibility to make sure all uploads are complete before you clear any cache/data for the app or delete a file.

The "Settings" page has additional configuration options for your Meeting Recorder.

Meeting Recorder Options
Always Keep Screen On: The screen of your device doesn't go to sleep while a meeting recording is active.
Include Date/Time in Filename: Appends the date and time stamp to the end of the meeting recording’s filename.
Default Meeting Name: The default name used for your meeting recordings.
Remind every x mins Meeting Recorder is on: If a meeting recording is active, it sends a reminder (push notification) at the interval you selected.
Only Upload on Wi-Fi: Use wi-fi only, not cellular data.
FAQ
Why do my meetings pause automatically?
If an incoming or outgoing call occurs, your device requires the speakers and microphone, so the call takes priority over the meeting recorder. Other apps that require the speakers or microphone also take priority.
What happens if I terminate the application accidentally?
If the Dubber app terminates during a meeting recording, the recording is lost. There is no way to recover a meeting recording if it is terminated while a recording is active.
If the app terminates while a file is uploading, the file is saved on your device, and the Dubber app tries to re-upload the file as soon as it access access to the network.
What happens if I don’t have enough storage while I’m recording?
Meeting Recorder alerts you if it detects that storage is nearly full. The app asks you to complete the recording. If try to start a recording when your device's storage is already full, the app cannot start a recording.
