This article explains how to access the Dubber Portal, set up your account for the first time, reset or change your password, and troubleshoot common sign-in issues.
Accessing the Dubber Portal
To sign in to Dubber:
- Go to the Dubber website and select Login.
- Select the region where your Dubber account is hosted.
- Enter your email address/username and password.
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SSO), follow your organisation's normal SSO sign-in process instead.
Not sure which region to select?
Contact your Dubber Account Administrator for assistance.
Setting up your account for the first time
When an Account Administrator creates a new Dubber user, the user receives an email containing a link to activate their account.
To complete your account setup:
- Open the account activation email from Dubber.
- Select the activation link.
- Create a password when prompted.
- Sign in to the Dubber Portal.
Depending on your organisation's configuration, you may also be asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when you first sign in.
I haven't received my activation email
If you haven't received the email:
- Check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Confirm with your Account Administrator that the correct email address was used when creating your account.
- If the email address is correct and the email is not in your spam folder, navigate to Dubber sign in page and follow the reset password prompts.
Note - If your account has been setup with Forced SSO, activation emails and password reset emails are not sent.
If you still cannot access your account, contact Dubber Support.
Expired activation link
The email that is sent when a user is first added to the Dubber portal, has a link to confirm your email address and set a password which is valid for 24 hours. If the link has expired, use the forgot password link at the sign in page. Activation links cannot be resent.
If you still cannot access your account, contact Dubber Support.
Forgotten password
If you use a Dubber username and password and have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the Dubber sign-in page.
- Go to the Dubber sign-in page for your region.
- Select Forgot password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Dubber user.
- Follow the instructions in the password reset email.
I haven't received the password reset email
First, check your Spam or Junk folder.
You should also confirm that you entered the email address associated with your Dubber account.
If you still don't receive the email, contact your Account Administrator or Dubber Support.
Using SSO?
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On to access Dubber, your password is managed by your organisation's identity provider rather than Dubber. Contact your internal IT or system administrator if you need help resetting your SSO credentials.
Changing your password
If you know your current password and want to change it:
- Sign in to the Dubber Portal.
- Open your Profile.
- Select the option to change your password.
- Enter your current and new passwords as prompted.
- Save your changes.
If you cannot remember your current password, use the Forgot password? option on the sign-in page instead.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Your organisation may have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled for Dubber.
When MFA is enabled, users signing in with a Dubber username and password are required to enter a six-digit verification code generated by their authenticator app.
If you have lost access to your authenticator app or cannot generate a valid verification code, contact Dubber Support to have your MFA access reset.
For more information, see Implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
If your organisation uses SSO, the authentication process may be different depending on how your Dubber account has been configured.
User management for Account Administrators
Account Administrators can manage users associated with their Dubber account, including:
- Creating users
- Viewing and updating user details
- Changing user roles and permissions
- Assisting users with password resets
- Deleting users
User management is currently available from the Classic Portal.
If you are using the updated Dubber Portal, select Classic Portal from the left-hand navigation menu to access user management.
For more information about managing users, see the Dubber Account Administration Guide.
CAPTCHA when signing in
Dubber uses security controls to help identify and prevent malicious or automated traffic.
You may occasionally be asked to complete a CAPTCHA when accessing the Dubber Portal. This is expected behaviour and helps protect the security and stability of the Dubber platform.
Complete the CAPTCHA challenge to continue signing in.
If you are repeatedly presented with CAPTCHA challenges or cannot complete the challenge, try:
- Refreshing the page
- Using a supported web browser
- Disabling browser extensions that may interfere with the CAPTCHA
- Trying a different network connection
If the problem continues, contact Dubber Support.
Automatic sign-out
For security, the Dubber Portal automatically signs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
If this happens, sign in again to continue using the portal.
We also recommend signing out when you have finished using Dubber, particularly when using a shared or public computer.
Still can't access Dubber?
If you're unable to sign in after following the steps above, check the following before contacting support:
- You're signing in to the correct Dubber region.
- You're using the email address associated with your Dubber account.
- You've checked your Spam or Junk folder for activation or password reset emails.
- If your organisation uses SSO, you can successfully sign in through your organisation's identity provider.
- If MFA is enabled, you can access the authenticator app associated with your account.
If you still need assistance, submit a request to Dubber Support. Include your email address, account or organisation name, and a description of the error you're seeing.
For security, never include your password or MFA verification code in a support request.
